This is the first challenge of its kind for guitar players. You will have the opportunity to shine with your solo skills with and without music accompaniment. Challengers will be playing against each other in guitar duels that judge you on creative improvisation, technique and showmanship (so dress up in your best rock & roll gear while you strut your stuff).
The challenge is open to all from ages 13 to 30, except those with current or prior recording contracts or music endorsement deals. So if you think you have what it takes, join this blazing challenge.

u are allowed to bring ur own guitar...but im not sure if they provide...sorry...

U gotta bring your own guitar and gear...besides it's your personalized sound. The amps will be supplied.
in the stages, it mentioned about "pre-selected backing tracks"... is it pre-selected by the judges or by the participants?
The pre-selected tracks are provided by us. You get to listen to it during soundcheck in the morning of the challenge to make your choice.
ok. cool! Hopefully its not a cover song. Hopefully its an open type of music backing track. Then only the guitarist can show their originality.
is fusion welcome in this competition? Like a couple of accompaniment instruments like electric/acoustic/classical guitars fused into one?
de competition only allowe rock ( electric guitar ) ? or acoustic also like andy mckee ?

Hi Manfei, all you have to do is to pick up one of the application forms we placed around major music shops in kl or you can get it from the information counter of sungei wang or collect direct from our school, make a payment of RM 10 for the registration and you are in.
